There’s a lot of talk about how small breasts can create self-esteem issues in women. Yet there are many women out there experiencing the complete opposite. It’s not uncommon to feel uncomfortable or self-conscious with larger sized breasts as well. Some women may also experience physical challenges or even pain if they have a heavy chest.
Millions of women around the world struggle with having breasts that are too large. These women refer to problems such as back and neck issues, discomfort when exercising, bad posture, bra strap grooves, problems with the skin under the breasts as well as poor self-esteem.
Some women have tried it all – physical therapy, ergonomic changes, special bras, exercises and maybe even pain medication, but nothing seems to give the effect they’re after.
BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY IS THE WAY TO GO
Doctors all agree – there is only one way to achieve what you want. Breast reduction surgery have been proven to make life easier for women with larger, natural breasts.
How is breast reduction surgery performed?
The surgical procedure itself can be performed in a variety of different ways, but all techniques have the same goal; removal of a significant amount of tissue and fat cells from each breast, and then removing the excess skin.
Are you struggling with any of the below problems? Then breast reduction surgery might be the right thing for you:
1)Back Problems. Women with large breasts often suffers from extreme back and neck pains. This is the number one reason women give for getting their breasts reduced. Some women also find it hard to find proper bras to give them the support they need, and if they do they often aren’t as nice looking as other bras.
2) Discomfort when exercising. This is a huge problem for most women. Running and other physical activities can be limited due to the size of the breasts making it uncomfortable. Some women might also be unable to do certain exercises that involves them lying on their front.
3) Bra Strap Grooves. Big natural breasts are heavy, and women will often develop strap grooves on their shoulders. Having wider straps might take some of the weight off, but even those will over time give you grooves.
4) Bad posture. Having heavy breasts can affect your posture. It can make it hard to stand up straight, due to all the weight pulling your chest forward. This can eventually lead to some serious back problems.
5) Appearance. Now, this is a big factor. Having large breasts might make some women dislike their appearance, which can affect their self-esteem and body image. They might struggle to fit into the clothes they want, and therefore feel trapped in a certain way of dressing. Having a breast reduction can improve their self-esteem.
However, having surgery is a very personal decision and it is important to consult with a surgeon to make sure you’re making the right decision for you.
