FaceTite

The challenge with most skin tightening treatments is getting through the surface layer of skin (the epidermis) without damaging it. Energy needs to get to the deeper structures that support the skin, as well as the collagen-rich layer of the skin (the dermis), in order to cause collagen contraction and stimulate tissue tightening. FaceTite is a minor surgical procedure where a fine cannula is placed under the skin, bypassing the fragile epidermis and delivering the right amount of energy to the right layers in order to lift the tissues. As such, it is more reliable than other methods. It requires local anaesthetic and can be done in our clinic. Most people need about 5-7 days off for the mild swelling and bruising to dissipate. Results may be apparent immediately and then build over 6-12 months, lasting typically 3-5 years.
